Soccor - Can India ever play at world level

I am big Fan of Football(Soccor). I do not leave any chance of watching a football match live. But i am dissapointed when i see that the indian team is nowhere in world list.
So all the members here whose countries are very good at world level in football to tell us(the indians) how to improve our game and at least qualify in major tournaments.

I am myself a big fan of the Indian team and would love to see them perform at the biggest stage. Unfortunately, Indian football has a long way to go before they can start playing at the world stage. Coach Bob Houghton has started a slow building process that till now seems to be working wonders for the development of Indian Football. Recently some of our players are beginning to play in the American League which is at least a stage higher than our domestic league. I hope our Football Federation has enough sense to give Bob a long run at his job.
