What time of day do you watch TV the most during the day, night or evening?

As you know day time is mostly working time and everybody is busy doing his job. Most people including me watch tv in the evening or in the night.Evening is also for some other activities like shopping and sport, so mostly people watch tv in the night. fisafat

If I watch, I prefer audiobooks to TV, it tends to be in the night/evening. In the day, I tend to be out covering stories or working on manuscripts or posting or reading for readbud.

i watch both at night and mid-mornings when i have to work. my work starts at noon so i still have time to watch before leaving for work. i always watch tv when i prepare for work. sometimes, when i find a good movie, it's hard for me to leave it and go to work. or when i get caught up in a series that i'm watching and then my shift changes so i have to leave earlier. i'm the kind of person who gets really caught up in tv so this gets kind of frustrating for me :) i also watch tv at night to unwind and relax before i go to sleep. so i guess the first thing i do in the mornings(well, mid-mornings, since i wake up late) is watch tv and the last thing i do is watch tv. when it's my rest day, then i watch tv almost all day when i don't go out. i admit, i'm a couch potato :)

I mostly watch TV during night because I don't have much time watching it in daytime because of work. And also, there are cooler and greater shows at night than at day. Watching TV at night is also my way of relaxing after a long day's work.

yeh even me.it is more relaxing, maybe because you have nothing to do and nowhere to go because all the shops are closed and generally all the works done aswell.plus daytime t.v is rubbish

I tend to watch TV most of the day really from around 7am until maybe 10pm or so. I have the News on in the background if there is nothing I particularly want to watch. The best programmes are on in the evenings - in the UK, I like Doctor Who, Casualty, Holby City, EastEnders, etc. but I do enjoy some daytime TV too.

I have a TV but I rarely spend any time watching it. Sometimes I'll have it on in the background, once in a blue moon I'll spend time sitting down watching. Most of my watching is done on the internet. I'll watch DVDs on the net. I also watch movies through You Tube. I used to watch the box a lot, but these days, it's been supplanted by my computer, which dominates everything!

Well evening because I'm not even home during the day or afternoon because of work. Whenever I take a day off and am home all day, I find there is not much interesting on tv. I guess I'm just not into daytime tv like soap operas and talk shows. So evening time is the best for catching all my favorite prime time shows :)

Hi, apples99 Just like most other myLot members who have responded to your discussion topic, I also mainly watch television in the evenings and night. Daytime tv does not really appeal to me as I think it is aimed more at older people or young children. Daytime telly also seems to be full of repeat episodes of programmes from years ago. Even at night it can be hard to find something worth watching, even with dozens of channels to choose from. Too much staring at the square box in the corner is not very healthy. Try reading a book and put your own pictures to the words. Have a funtastic day, here at myLot.

Hi apples99. During the evening, late at nights and in the early mornings. That is when I will sit down with my husband and look at a movie. It is more peaceful then, just as long as my daughters don't make a lot of noise.

I usually watch tv at night especially when my husband is having his online classes. Its the only times I can watch tv and its only for an hour and that's it. I was a tv freak before when I was still single, but now I am married everything has changed.

being that my husband and I our home a lot the TV is on most of the day. but to really sit down ans watch something I would have to say for me the evening. Snow

I don't have anything to do at night so I'll just watch TV.. is can also make me sleep.. but sometimes if im watching horror i can't get to sleep.. :)

I don't usually watch tv, but when i do i do it in the afternoon or in the evening. I can't watch tv in the morning because i'm a student and i start classes very early, and in weekends i usually sleep till noon because i'm tired after a though week. I sometimes spend night watching tv if i know i don't have much to do next morning and i can rest till 12 oclock.

I would say it would be the early evening. There is half hour sports talk show I try to catch at 4:30pm, but any other kind of television that I watch is usually after 7pm. I really don't watch TV at all during the day. I could, I just don't really have the desire. Everything seems boring anyway.

I work a full time job. I normally watch when I get home which is in the evenings. Sometimes it's just on and I'm moving around trying to prepare dinner and get everything ready for the next day. By the time I settle down it is around 8:00pm.

i usually watch TV during evening cause i usually arrived home late and at the same time the shows during that time captures and captivates me a lot.

I watch the TV more during the evening because my favorite shows show during the night. Shows like Dollhouse, NCIS, Gossip Girl, One Tree Hill, Vampire Diaries, True Blood, Glee, and lots more. And, yes, it is more relaxing at night. At night, it's my time to just lie down and relax. What shows do you usually watch?

Definitely night. At night , more of my favorite T.V shows are on. Like House , bigbangtheory, 2 and a half men , supernatural... Yea , you get the idea :) During the day , there are just all these awful shows on. Like DR.Phil and there are also infomercials on. Really , I don't know why people would watch that crap. I also like watching at night because that's my way of relaxing and preparing for a good night sleep. During the day , I'm too busy.

I usually watch tv at night . That is when my favorite shows come on like Two and Half Men and CSI . During the day I'm usually at work ,or busy doing errands ,or cleaning the house. I hardly ever get a chance to sit down and relax. I still try and watch days of our lives if I get a minute during the day , but that hardly ever happens. I'm an evening tv person for sure.
