blast It

In high school and college I used to love blasting my stereo and falling asleep. I had a timer on my stereo and I would use it as my alarm clock as well. 7:00 in the morning my poor neighborhood would get rocked by "Synchronicity". I kinda miss those days. I still listen to tons of music, I am just a little more "civilized" about it.

Headphones are great because you get a completely different feel for the music. It's like you are truly "inside". It's nice of you to consider your parents wishes and use your headphones.

I love blasting my stereo LOL, especially when im alone in my house. The weird thing is my parents dont even scold me when im playing the music too loud LOL, even though its a screamo songs. But they still tell me to shut it off when its time to eat. :)

You are lucky, my parents used to always get on me for playing my stereo too loud. I can still remnember the sound of my fathers feet as he was running down the stairs to come yell to me to "Turn it down". LOL.

Oh, I love the Police! never had a stereo with a timer function and never could fall asleep with music (or tv) on I now have a little cd player with waves on it - that's all, just over an hour of waves coming into a shore

I am glad you are no longer such a nuisance. We had one rude little kid (17 or so) who lived below us once whom we finally had to tell "It is you or us that has to MOVE, and guess what it is not going to be us" -- He just did not understand that people who have JOBS have to sleep and also that not all people like the same kind of music.
