It is said 'sound mind in sound body'. True, isn't it? But how many of us are really fit as God desired. Probably, a very negligible percentage. I attribute this mainly to change of our food and living habits. I am now 62 year old and when I was a small child till my College days, I remember, I never refused to eat whatever my mummy or my sisters had prepared and ate them with full satisfaction. I was always discouraged to take food by road-side. I agree that situations have changed considerably and now I find cleanliness in such road-side foods. However, I have seen now that mothers are encouraging their children to take such fast foods which really hurt the body in some way or other. Chocolates and such fast foods cause severe problems to children while they are growing up. Similarly, late night programs force us to take sleep for lesser time as we have to go to schools/colleges/offices. Consequently, we feel drowsy and our mind fails to remain alert. Should not we try to bring some change in our food and living habits? Frequent walks in early morning and late evening are the best ways to remain fit as I am today without help of any tonic or medicines. But I take food to my heart's content whatever we have prepared ourselves.

i could say that i am still fitness because i still never experience some problem in my body,but still i am aware to the food that i eat everyday,all of this will have an effect if i will reach the age of 30 or above,so i always eat fruits that contain of high in vitamin C.

Hi, That is very true.The food made at home is very the best.It will keep the health well.But as you have discussed,it is normal thing now to eat outside.What ever it is.Either at good restaurants or roadside vendors.No exercise even.This way ultimately,just medicines or tonics becomes necessary for the body.

With time going,we have to make some changes in our food and habits,but only the good ones.I am not as healthy as before because of some bad life habits,no breakfast,staying up late and not getting up in the morning,eating many fastfood,especially the roadsite stands.All of these do great harm to my body. One day I realized this point and decided to make a change for my life,because I want live a long and healthy life.I am trying to get rid of bad habits and have healthy food and do some exercise to keep a good figure.

I'm not really sure if God desires it or not. But I think we need to decide for ourself if we are on the right road or the bad one, and if we are satisfied with it, God shall be as well. I think that even if your body isn't in shape, but if you like it, I think there is no possible grudge against it though. But when we realise we need to change, others should possible be there to help us, right? So we need to be sure what is important in life. Have a nice day udaymoham!
