We know that there was an amazing good effect of the endorsement of Chiz Escudero on Binay's campaign. Surveys for Binay suddenly came higher when the "NoyBi" phemomenon took place. Now that Binay will soon be proclaimed the Bice President of the Philippines, do you believe that this victory was because of Chiz Escudero?

Yes...I have seen the TV commercial of Chiz Escudero endorsing Binay as the rightful vice president of Ninoy Aquino. In fairness to Binay I think he really deserve his win because he is a good public servant. What he had done to Makati has never been done before in any city so I think we really needed him to be our Vice President. In fairness of Mar Roxas I also like him but sad to say the people choose Binay over him. Actually whoever wins between the two of them is fine with me because I like this two politicians. I like their drive and dedication to help and serve Filipino people.

I am sorry but i beg to differ, that BAYANI has done the impossible compare to Binay, since bayani doesn't have the businessmen elite like the AYALA's and other business tycoons there in makati. remember, he also used to be MMDA chairman but really didn't make the difference compare to what Bayani did.

we all know that chiz escudero help a lot in binay's campaign, but it is not only because of chiz campaign that help binay in his campaign.i've heard so many good things about binay, he was idolized by many because of his past doing... i like binay but im not sure if he is ready for this new challenge.

Hi sharlionse! I believed the endorsement of Chiz Escudero helped in a part to improved the rating and vote of Mayor Jejomar Binay. But we could not withheld that Mayor Binay have worked so hard in campaigning all around the country and maybe his experienced and the things he have done for Makati really works to his advantage. I think what makes the commercial or endorsement big was that it came in the right time where people were choosing who really to vote for. Have a nice day!

when chiz have said about his intention to run for the elections, long before the campaign period started, i told myself that i will vote for him. when he decided to give way for the tandem of noy and mar, i have a second thought on mar but decided on noy during the campaign period. the infomercials aired days before the election, my noy-? automatically became noy-bi. i guess i can say that i am one of those people who really changed minds and was really affected of influenced by chiz.

Hello sharlionse, It seems that Chiz was really rooting on the Original Members of the Opposition but i wonder why he didn't choose Erap. i guess he didn't want to endorse some one who had been in jail before or didn't believe in Erap either. First, i think it was because of chiz, and because of binays exposure to the fight against Arroyo.

I thought Chiz would endorse Erap too but he didn't. I can't think of any good reasons though.

i think it is. Binay was not even on the top three until chiz' endorsement came along. I thought it's going to be a tight race between him and Loren with Mar leading both of them but i thought wrong. I think Mar is asking himself right now where could be possibly have gone wrong.

It is not over yet. Until the last vote is counted, Mar Roxas still has the chance to overtake the slim lead of Binay. However, just like the rest of you, I also prefer Binay compared to Roxas. I hope that eventually Binay will be proclaimed as the next Vice-President.

I guess I agree with you that Chiz's endorsement had an impact on his campaign. Chiz is credible so a lot of people probably had been a follower of Escudero. But there are rumors going around that Binay took that opportunity of leading in the survey to his advantage. They said that he made several sample ballots attaching his name to all presidentiables. Noy-Bi, Erap-Bi, Gibo-Bi, and Manny-Bi so for those who haven't made up their mind for their VP had been influenced by that move.

somehow it is a big factor upon chiz endorsing binay but that's not why he won. it was the choice of the public to stay with their candidate. the first time automation of the philippine election has not failed so less anomalya.

I wouldn't say that Binay's victory was solely because of Chiz Escudero, but I do think that Chiz's endorsement of Binay helped a lot because as we all know, Chiz is a very popular politician. I just hope that Binay would not let us down. I did not vote for him, but now that he seems to be the next vice president, I hope he will do his best to help our country.

I believe so. It is evident that right after Chiz's endorsement, Binay's rating had that dramatic increase, it doubled.

it is not all because of chiz that he won although we cannot deny the fact that chiz made a great help for binay's campaign.

I thought Binay would not gain more votes if Chiz did not endorse him. Chiz has a very good reputation in the politics and whatever he say, people will believe in him. Binay has a reputation as well but not as good as Chiz. People of the Philippines have seen the success of Makati which is also the success of Binay. But still there are a lot of doubts if Binay can do it in the whole country. What Chiz wanted, is to have a true opposition to the next administration, cause that's where Binay is also good about, contradicting what's on the table, in order to have a view of the other side. I also thought that if not for Binay, Erap wont be in the 2nd place.

I don't think so. Binay already proves that he is a good leader. Even though he is in manila. The people knew his good works throughout the country. So Binay really deserves for winning the vice presidential seats.

hello sharlionse, I think part of his victory has something to do with Chiz Escudero's tv endorsement. As we all know Chiz is a great influencer and an outstanding government official. People trust him and he has good reputation and someone whom I think is very intelligent and very likable. His campaign "NoyBi" proven to be effective and voters trust his judgement and choice. I think Binay should thank him tremendously. Well aside from the fact that most Makati resident voted for him, Binay has proven his capacity and effectiveness to lead Makati City and he has done a lot of improvement with the said business district. I guess with that people also looked into a candidate's capacity to run and lead our country.
