Grieving is an emotional response that we experience when we lost something or someone we love dearly. It could either be a love one serious illness, losing a job, losing a finacial stability, break ups, miscarriage, and death of a love one. You may feel loads of emotions such as sadness, anger, guilt, shock, and disbelief during this stage. I personally experience grieving and depression when i lost my mum late last year of 2009. I still mourn for her after couple of months. It was intense and the feeling is unbearable. I was shocked, i cant eat, i cant sleep, i have loads of questions in my mind, i am angry to everyone who extend their sympathy. I was half crazy. The god news is grieving and the feeling of lost and sadness is normal. And it can be healed. I let myself grieve, i let myself cry over and over again, i didnt care, i just let the emotions flow out. For all i know it was part of my healing. There is never a right way to grieve nor there is a wrong way. But there are always a healthy way to grieve. Here's some: * express your grive with your love ones. Someone you trusted. * face what you feel, supressing emotions wont help. You have to acknowledge the pain. * combat fatigue and stress by getting enough sleep and rest. * let yourself feel whatever you wanted to feel and dont let others tell you what to feel. Its okay to be angry etc. The keypoint is your the only one who knows when its time to move on and let go. * prayers, medidating and going to church or seeking help from a religious group can hepl for a solemn and peaceful comfort. Healing takes time. There are times when you feel you have let go and then something happens that let you remember your grief. That is normal. Its part of your healing process.

Interesting. I agree that we are happy for the many good things we have. It seems the teachings of the Tao give an interesting insight. It is claimed (in their teaching) that "That what is real that never changes." And if we realize that we all change along with everything we (seem to) "possess", then we (to our advantage) let go off that grip of happiness based on what we have, while we focus on that which makes all things possible - what ever name we refer to that Invisible Energy and Infinite Intelligence... What do you think?
