With facebook, we are able to know what's going on with our friends' lives and sometimes with the friends of your friends. I've noticed that there are certain types of people in facebook. There are people who are very transparent, and they always have status updates and posts a lot of pictures. However, there are also people who stays quiet, they do not post any shout outs or whatsoever..Their photos are not so many and usually not updated. We are in facebook for a lot of different reasons. How do you describe yourself as a facebook user?

I had been a Facebook user and just recently,I have updated my info and pictures and added my families, colleagues and relatives on my Friend's list. I was so happy to see old classmates who looked just the same as 10-12 years ago. Then all of a sudden, Facebook has been a place of gossips and a cousin of mine who was abroad was heartbroken for a person commented on his wife going out with someone else. It was pure hearsay but of course the family commented badly to the wife, they got separated and my cousin plans to get their only daughter but the wife left. Now everyone who commented badly are receiving summons to the court. They were sued by the wife's family and it all started with Facebook comments. Do I still like Facebook? Definitely not.

Gossips can really ruined someone's life. That's so sad that even on Facebook people love talking about people and attack someone. What happened to the court summons? Were they found guilty? What punishment did the court gave them? (^^,)

I describe myself as an obsessed user. I constantly log on, check my wall, check around 3-4 other peoples walls and then just browse anything I want really... (as well as playing several apps constantly).

i just started a facebook account very recently. i've was hesitant to join because it seemed to me that people were too transparent and posting too much. i finally joined because it helps me to keep in touch with friends. i've decided that it's really up to the user how much or how little you want to share.

I am the quiet type too. And I am really not fond of some of my friends who keeps on updating and posting statuses every seconds or every minute...I find it very annoying...You don't need to post if you are going to take a shower or not. And then, yes, it's hot, you did took a shower. And now you are going to bed. My goodness!!! It was so annoying. I really wanted to shout and scream to her. And yes, it was girl posting. Happily, I was able to hide her feeds without having to delete or block her. I don't mind my friends, expressing their feelings online. But not that much, I don't think everyone is interested in your every moves... And especially if you are in a word war with some invisible imaginary neighbors.. I don't need to know all the alphabet for swearing..LOL..I only like to play games there. Chat with my friends and family. Just taking a quiet peaceful time to relax on Facebook. (^^,)

Hey Alexies, I would describe myself as being transparent-you'll always find status updates and photos being uploaded and me commenting on my friends statuses and blah blah. I am very active on facebook, not a day passes without me being on facebook!! :-)

Facebook is a wonderfufl way to stay in touch with family or friends abroad and to stay up-to date with everything going on with them, hence the status updates and photographs. However, facebook, even though it presents several advantages, has a very negative side to it. For example, one's privacy can be easily tapped into due to the private information sometimes revealed on facebook and which is not very protected. Birth dates, names, photographs, and many more crucial pieces of information are laid out for people to manipulate on facebook. These pieces of information can be very dangerous if leaked out... Facebook remains my homepage and I check it everyday because it is fun, when you think about it. But for every facebook user out there, take good care of your private information. Such information can be hazardeous if it fell into the wrong hands. Take Care guys
