Some holidays and some birthdays some of us have made a money tree as a present, And I enjoy making them and giving them if I have made team and enjoyed giving them as well as recieving if I have extra money around so let's just say it has not been made here in a very long time if you know what I mean,
Broke well my question is have you ever made one of these money trees for someone for a present and if you have how much money did you put on the tree? And if you recieved one how much money was on it,and how much you spend from tree? Or do you still have the money tree?

I don’t want to sound ignorant but I have never heard of a money tree unless it was my mother complaining that she didn’t have one in the garden! Is it a Chinese tradition? Is it a tree that you make, put money on it and give it as a present with the intent that it will bring the person good fortune? It sounds like a lovely idea and I guess how much you give would depend on how much you can afford the recipient and the occasion I guess.

You get a little fake tree from somewhere like home depot or anywhere they have plants and get a pot and you can wrap some kind of decorative wrapping around it and you get pieces of strings and hang the dollars and the little branches and then you can decorate the rest any way you want it, last time I made one I used the green shiny Christmas paper for the wrapping and ribbons green and red skinny ones and hung the dollars form the little branches and I only used like $20.oo. Hope you can make one for yourself or someone else and I hope I described it okay to you, Have a good day

I've never heard of someone actually making one either. Now I've heard of the sarcastic one where you suposidly have an acutal tree that grows money in place of leaves.... AH if only it were true!
