As a runner I always have my morning coffee before a race. But I have heard that any more than what you are used to drinking before working out can actually cause heart palpitations. I try to drink only what I normally drink before a run or workout. That way I don't have a heart attack during working out.

I don't agree. Black coffee is not good for our body. You may addicted to coffee due to caffeine. Caffeine is not good for our heart. Caffeine increased heartbeat and eventually raise blood pressure.
I don't drink coffee and always exited when workout. Always keep our body health is the key. Take some regular exercises, and don't go to bed lately. Don't forget to consume balance nutrients.

yes it is true drink coffee before work can make us excited, it is the effect of caffeine content that serves stimulate the heart to pump faster, causing effects of our excited ...
If you've used, are usually not drink coffee, your body become weak or dizzy, this becaused the heart is triggered by caffeine habit, and the trigger is removed, auto body felt weak or dizzy ..
but as I know, it is the result of research on the properties that are not in the brewed coffee and / or the mix this and that. but it is the result of research on the benefits of PURE coffee (coffee beans / ground coffee).

caffeine in coffee triggers the muscles to starts using fat as an energy (if you start your workout with empty stomach in the morning) than carbs/glycogen, caffeine has been used by many endurance athletes as a way of gettng extra engergy out of their body's reserve during training, a single cup of black coffee may be enought to trigger these beneficial effects, there are more finding that caffeine is ok to take prior to training and that it is very beneficial and could be considered an ergogenic aid in training..

I am not so sure about this but I read somewhere that people who drinks black coffee lose weight easier because drinking black coffee increases your metabolism. But keep in mind, coffee leads to dehydration so drinking it before a work out might not be the greatest idea
