Hello lotters,
I hope the admin won't delete this one..
You we have a lot of forums, chats and even messengers now that are active through out internet space.
but you know it is mylot that brought people together from different parts of the WORLD. we have social networking sites but only good for spamming and adding friends.
Unlike here, we get to really know each other, from our experiences and different views.
some have tried to imitate this site, but i think no one can ever replace mylot,at least for now.
Still enjoying yourself here? keep staying.

I disagree, the world has been shrinking since long before mylot. Myspace and the rest of the internet are just a part of the globalization that brings our interactions closer.

Hi Mr. Nice Guy: you are right when you mention places like Myspace that have made their own part on this process, I think thatLetran Knight didn't want to say with his message that Mylot is the only place on the internet that has made the world smaller but I must admit that this is the first site that I have joined that I really enjoy making part of a community like that and I think that we are really sharing experiences with people around the world and that's what makes for me, Mylot a different site. Thanks for your answer mr nice guy.

Yes, i agree that because of Internet the world had become a smaller place. but majority of that is those who have friends and relatives that finds ways to see each other and talk to other accross the globe.
but what about strangers? how are they engage to talk to each other and get to know each other, only a few does that and mostly no one wants to talk to strangers, unless it's a paid site and you are required to respond to earn something.
and 
i must say this is the only site that brought me closer to people accross the GLOBE.1 person likes this

Hi Letran Knight: I agree with you when you express those feelings about mylot and how we have this positive reaction when we go here to answer the top discussions or to start our own discussions based on the topics that we really care about and find important to discuss. I think that we have said so many times but I think it is good to repeat it, at the beginning, most of us join the site for the money but then we understand that there are so many reasons to stay on mylot: one of them is that here we receive or give advices, we can share our feelings about those issues that we find important. In some cases we find people that give us their point of view when we are not able to find an answer to a personal problem for example.
In other words, mylot is the perfect place to know better people from other cultures because here there are member from all around the world and we are like a big, nice community. And what is better is that we can add a person as a friend to keep in contact to him/her. So, for me; there is no doubt that the World is smaller because of Mylot. Long Life Mylot, I’m glad of being a member of mylot. Thanks for asking us this question. Have a nice day.

I'm going to have to agree with you on this one. That's so true; this is one of the best site that I've joined, where I can find so many friends with different nationalities interacting and whatnot. There are other sites that I've been browsing through but my heart has always been here. Good one, Letran.

I think the internet in general has made the world a smaller place. You can communicate with nearly anyone in the world with just putting your finger to the keyboard. I would have to agree with you myLot is definitely one of the best online communities around, if not the best

Yes, Mylot is sure different, i have seen forums but i never seen forums where you get to know the people behind the ones typing in the forum, when you engage in a forum you just exchange words and not get to know them. i have gotten know quite a few people here and i lke it.

I've joined another site which does not really feel what it's like here. I like it more here. It feels good to be part of one of the world's best. As we continue to learn and grow so does myLot. And vice versa. Boy am I glad to be part of this growing team. Thank you so much myLot!

I was delighted to be able to finally determine how to find discussions based off of the topic. Things are a lot easier now in being able to find discussions that I feel comfortable jumping in on. I am also very grateful to have discovered when someone responds to something I post I get an email about it so I can find and see what has been said.
Obviously there is still room for improvement, but after some time studying links I have discovered it isn't quite as chaotic as it first appeared.

i believe the opposite. it actually becomes bigger with MyLot since a number of users has been going into it that ends up you cannot see who are with it. but good to know you exist!:)

I’ve said this many times; finding this place has been life changing for me…Really! I have never felt like part of a community like I do here and I have got to know so many great and interesting people from all corners of the globe. I agree that MyLot and the Internet itself does make the world seem so much smaller and that is a good thing. It’s refreshing to know that we may all lead different lives and come from very different cultures and yet can have so much in common. Yes I am still enjoying it here, very much.

The internet made the world small but mylot turned the world smaller as if I was talking to a person in the neighborhood who happened to be on another country. i thought every one's different but they're all the same with different cultures,jobs, ethnicity. makes you wonder why with the use of internet, they're still violence involved.

I agree, and some of the friends that I met here, I already see them on FACEBOOK too so it's like you kind of know them on a more personal level.
I have also won friends from other regions of our country.
Some, I share the same political, religious views, or just plain foolishness!

I really enjoy being here in Mylot. I will not stay here for three years if I am not enjoying my stay. I love the site itself the first time I was here. I do move out from the site before because I was hurt by a trolls, or I get offended but as long as I moved on from that I go back and post here. I have social sites, but because of the reason it is firewalled in the computer office I seldom visited that social site I have. I already abandoned my friendster too. I do facebooking when I am in a different computer. I believe Mylot connects people from different country.

Yes, I'm still enjoying mylot. Although we might feel like we know each other pretty well, you still don't really get to know a person until you've met him face to face. Even when you've met the person face to face, you really don't know him as well as you think you might until you've known him for several years.

Why do you say myLot may delete your discussion. I see nothing wrong in your discussion. Yes. myLot has so far at least for me has given no reasons to talk against it. It is a place where one can pick and choose to interact with whosoever they wish to and move away from those with whom one is not comfortable without precipitating issues.
