What does a mothers love mean to you?

Hey it is still the month of mothers and I am wondering what does a mothers love mean to you my mother has been my best friend, we are so close and we became even closer when she became ill and was on dialysis for four years we were a perfect match on all aspects and on mothers day 2002 we went through a successful transplant procedure so basically she gave me life and I gave her the same you can't get any closer than that it's nothing like a mothers love......She is always there to pick up the pieces....

I've never really appreciated my mom and what a mother's love is until I became a parent myself, a dad at least to my children. A mother's love, real, unconditional, brightest on your darkest...

Athough they would nag a lot a mother's love is unconditional surreal and very nurturing. These are instances that will be priceless to you. You value some stuff that you take for granted and the least you expect.

For me, a mother's love is the closest that I've ever known to God's love. My mom exudes the kind of love that I believe no one in this world can live up to. Though at times I get irritated the way she gives us advices, I still appreciate it at the end of the day because I know it's for our good. I always thank God, every day, that He gave me the kind of mother that I have now. I admire her so much and aside from Jesus, she's the one I'm going to emulate, especially when the time comes that I'm gonna be a mother, too.

hello ndubose, You are amazing! what you did for your mother is exceptional,it just show that she instill in you her whole being.I salute you for that my friend!... Mother's love for me is sacrifice,unconditional,immeasurable.....like my mom who has done exceptional things for us.She did worked hard to give us good education.My mom & my siblings are so close with each other,yes there are arguments sometimes but it just makes us more closer.My mom is not too young nor too old but everytime she feels unwell,we are the one being nervous.We will do everything for her and all the best for her.When we were little,she took care of us & now is the time to take care of her in return unconditionally & willingly..I love my mother too much and I know now much better because I am a mother now & now what her sacrifices for us before,I know that I will also do for my daughter.Much love to all moms here...& to your mom as well..have a great day friend!

That is simply beautiful. for me my mother is no longer with us and before she went we got closer that last 10 years of her life. I sure do miss her but when even I think of her and that is a lot a smile comes on my face. But now I am worried about my brother because he is very sick and he has dialysis three times a day for about 5 hrs each time. He is up and down a lot. However, I know that mom is watching over him as well as me. Take care my friend. Show
