i know "single ladies" is a hit and even babies can get them moving and grooving but who taught this innocent and sweet kids those provocative steps? even their costumes are skimpier than that of what's beyonce is wearing. you as parent, would you allow your kids to wear and dance that way?

Oh my gosh, I saw this video on youtube the other day and I was completely and utterly insulted by it. I have a daughter that is close to the same age as these girls are and I would not ever allow my daughter to be in a performance like that. These are just little girls and they are dancing in a way that would really not do a lot but to make them look more appealing to a child predator. It is insulting and I think that the parents of these children should be punished for allowing their daughters to dance like that. I know if I ever decide to let Kathryn do something like that I hope that someone would shoot me.

I think at home, it doesn't matter, it's just pretending and copying what they see - in the same way I used to wear wigs and my mum's shoes as a young girl. It's just playing. But outside is different, I don't think it's right to let young girls wear "sexy" clothes in public as they are just children and should look like children.

Hi, ersanmiguel. Who knows. Kids are very smart for their ages. My four year old daughter likes to dance. She will lift up her shirt and just start dancing. My two year old daughter is the same way too. It is kind of silly and cute. But I tell them to stop. They see this on T.V. That is why they are imitating these kind of dances. I don't want them to dance this way because they are too young to. I would tell them not to dance like this. And I would never let them wear anything that is too skimpy and provocative for their ages.

it's a sad fact that kids nowadays don't dress like kids, they don't act like kids and they don't behave like kids. i see small girls wearing clothes that looks like a mini version of an adult clothes (and some with very provocative cut). Gone are the days when children wear cute children clothes, sing children songs (even kids now sing songs with lyrics that are not appropriate for them). i believe the parents are responsible for their children's behavior. It's not bad to flaunt your children's talent, but some dance steps are not meant for kids. Am I too old fashioned? Or is the world getting way too irresponsible?

I definitely would let my children somehow try to dance that or even teach them myself. I mean, I wanted them to search for something that they really like to do and somehow enjoy it. It's a good way of developing their talents and self confidence. As long as it's for their own good

i guess every parents would love to see their children enjoying what they really love to do and to excel but with that kind of dance steps and costume, i'd think twice...
