We all have things we are afraid off, even though it differs for everyone. Some are afraid of spiders, others of heights,... Even though I don't have many, I still can't surpass the fear of them. Can you? And can you tell us which limit your surpassed?

I was afraid of spiders when I was younger the bigger the spider more terrifying I became. Then one day I saw a spider in my house he was huge about the size of my palm. They are called wolf spiders anyway, I froze and yelled for my husband I literally couldn't move, so I watched as this spider changed to the color of my carpet then I panicked and ran to my couch and watched as the this wolf spider climb the wall next to the couch I was on. Then I noticed it wasn't after me but a moth, I don't have to tell you who won. So I quietly got off the couch and ran and got a empty jar and well tried to trap this spider in the jar, which worked but now I have a spider against the wall in this jar. So I'm thinking now what Sherlock, so I slide the spider over to the edge of the window sill and I opened the window up. By then my husband came into the room and was silently watching me, and then opened his mouth and said "good job hon now how are you going to get it over the frame to the window without letting the spider out of your trap. Only because every time I moved the jar the more upset the spider got. But I jumped because my husband startled me and when I did this hairy spider ends on the top of the jar which I screamed and then threw the spider with the jar out the window. When I look outside the wolf spider had trapped a grasshopper at that time I had decided that these spiders are around for a reason, but not in my house. This is what broke the camels back I was no longer afraid of spiders, in fact I studied them to see which ones where harmful and which ones weren't.

Wow, nice story, but I'm glad you finally got rid of your fear! I'm happy for you, since not many people are able to surpass that kind of fear.

Hmm.. I am scared of most insects (especially cockroaches) and I don't intend to overcome it. I don't wanna get used to insects I am scared of having too much responsibilities as I do not think I can fulfill all of them. I think that's the one I have to work hard to overcome.

I know why you don't intend to ;) I wouldn't either. I see, well it's a fear that takes more time, so do so, slowly take your time and ask for friends to help you

I know it sounds stupid but I was afraid to go into car washes! Yes! I got stuck in one a few years ago and I am kind of clostrophobic....by the time I got out I was crying and a wreck. But this past winter I finally went through one. I am still very uncomfortable doing it but I did do it!

I see :) It doesn't sound stupid at all! There are enough people afraid of strange things, and car washes can be one of them. I'm glad you overcame your fear a bit.
