Venus on top of the Crescent Moon

Has anyone witnessed this phenomenon? I was on my way to the San Antonio Valley 1 church with my mom, sister, and niece, when out of the blue, I glanced at the clear sky, and saw this star sitting on top of the crescent moon. I have browsed Yahoo afterwards to see the picture of this beautiful moon. It reminded of the Cheshire Cat of Alice in Wonderland, grinning that wonderful grin of his. i was driving my motorcycle on my way to Save More to pay my internet bill when i saw this phenomenon at about the same time you attended the mass. i hurry up to get back home so i can take a picture of it. but something happened and i just remember about it when this was reported in the news yesterday. and so my wife told me, "have you seen that? why did you not tell me about it?"

I saw it too- I didn't really know it was Venus.. haha...I tried to get a picture of it but it was too far.. It looked very beautiful and enchanting- too bad it only happens very rarely...

Yup, saw it here in the Philippines right after Mass. it was really beautiful, but I just can't take a good picture of it with my camera phone coz it was a bit faraway. But it was a good sight and people here are actually raving about it and it came out in the news. :)
