I have read a blog explaining the possible factor that can bring doubt on the results of the 1st automated election in the Philippines. The blogger claims that the vote of Acosta and Aquino has been multiplied every time a BEI keeps on tryng to transmit election data after several failures.
you may read the blog. just click here (not a referral link) http://petalcorin.blogspot.com/2010/05/dropped-call-anomaly-explains-pcos.html
Do you believe in him? If what he claims is true, then, we still dont have a reliable and credible election.

the blogger could be true to his statements, his article. but let us wait for the congress to convene and canvass all the certificates. at this point in time, there is no one could claim victory. besides, all the certificates will be counted and compared with the number of registered voters. if the votes were doubled in favor of acosta and aquino, the congress could only tell.

hi neildc..
it could have happened but my idea is not limited only to acosta and aquino. Acosta has been disqualified prior to the election yet he still had 400K votes. the number of votes that acosta got is doubtful for me. COMELEC should have informed the voting public about the disqualification of Acosta.

The blogger seemed to know what he was talking about and seemed to have investigated the phenomenon before putting it on his blog. I still believe we have a failed and an unreliable election. I am not happy with the outcome.
