I usually only like psychological thrillers and haven't watched any sci-fi in years. I saw Avatar on Comcast's PPV and just finished watching it and....I loved it!
I thought the storyline was excellent and I was yelling for the "blue people" to win again the greedy earth folks. Especially how the really bad guy died!! I thought the ending was perfect and I have to admit I was in tears a couple of times .
GREAT MOVIE!
Would like to hear your opinion?

Hiya heather,
Have not seen it yet properly in the Cinema and it is now out in Blu-Ray Dvd so I will wait till I can buy it and then see it properly. I like the bits I have seen very much. So it won´t be too long before I do buy this one it seems a very good Film to me.

I liked avatar but i was disappointed that I did not get to see the 3 d version. I think there are many good things and lessons to learn from the movie. I think there re many things that can be done.

I think I am the only one in the world who has not seen Avatar yet and I am a big sci-fi fan. Even when the movie was announced it just did not excite me neither did the previews. I will pick it up on DVD when it is in the bargain bins so I can see what all the fuss is about. I am sure I will like it but it was not a movie high up on my list to see.
At the same time I could be missing out on the best movie ever made

The whole part when they were fighting back and when the tree god (or whoever it was) sent in help was my favorite part. I am going to watch it again just so I can pay more attention to them...

I thought that it was an excellent film. I have always been a fan of science fiction, but the real attraction with Avatar was that it was totally different to any other film.
Original and unique stories are quite rare despite the number of films being made.

I haven't seen it as of yet, but my husband did and he liked it a lot. So much so that he couldn't wait for me to see it right after he saw it. And I know that if he's that excited about a movie it has to be good! Now I just need to go and rent it from somewhere as the place I normally rent movies from has closed down. Or better yet, maybe I'll just wait a bit for the price to drop and buy it instead. After all, no one can have too many DVD's! LOL
Happy mylotting!

I just saw the movie last night and I loved it too! I'm not into those types of movies but I have to say, this one was well put together! It shows that greed can have it's consequences so beware!
