Beach or Church Wedding?

Which do you prefer? Beach or Church Wedding? Or do you have any suggestions? Well, I'm not getting married yet but of course I'm planning. A beach Weddding is just so cool, I just hope that its not high tide and it doesn't rain. With the beach and the sunset as your background, I think it will be a perfect wedding. A church wedding is still very sacred for me, because everybody's formal and you can feel the presence or the Lord guiding you all throughout the ceremony. Nothing beats the traditional church wedding. =) How about you? What do you prefer?

Beach wedding would be so perfect. Yes church wedding is the traditional thing but can make the beach wedding as traditional as possible.

well a beach wedding would be cool but if its not the rainy season which is a hit or miss in weddings unless you do it in the summer. But beach weddings are more expensive than normal church weddings. But i think the choice would be mine but for the bride.

Yeah I think so too that beach weddings are more expensive than church weddings. But its just a one time big time expense, I would totally save up for it. You only get married once, so why not make the most of it. =)

Beach wedding would be a more scenic place for a wedding. Great place to take photos also. More traditional in a chruch though. Did you think about having a wedding at a botanical gardens? That could be nice also particularly if the wedding is in spring and the flowers are blooming.

maybe for the wedding itself, it can be in the church, and then reception can be in a beach setting. Or if you want to re-marry, like renew your vows, I think a beach wedding would be spectacular.

Assuming its not too hot, I'd go for a beach wedding. But since there are no beaches around here & I'm actually planning our vow renewal, I'll probably go with a park wedding. I have a picture in my mind of how I want it to look, so I have to find the right local place. Of course, after the wedding, we're gonna have a costumed reception. I absolutely love wearing costumes!

how i wish I could do that on my own wedding, park wedding sounds wonderful. Its peaceful and a lot of people can witness, its like you're professing your love for your partner to the whole world. The costume idea is so cool!

i think you can have a meaningful, religious service on the beach just as well as in a church. where two or more are gathered in My Name...

I also agree with you on that. But if its solemnity that we want to achieve, I think its more appropriate inside the church.

OH beach wedding for sure! I have friends that are getting married and when she called for the address to send invitations I had flashes of having to wear stockings, ugly bridesmaid dresses, crying kids, having to go to church. UGG no thank you!! Then the invitation came in the mail and it turnes out its going to be a beach wedding and no shoes allowed!! This pretty much takes care of everything I was worried about. Now Im acctually excited to attend a wedding.

whatever places as long as we both agree and i think being marriage is the most important than the wedding itself. Since it may be fabulous but after later years some couples divorce. Their is really no assurance for eternity. Wedding is only for formality but the sincerity of the two partner is the most important at all. Though, being wed on the church is for the public to witness as accepted by the society.

I also agree with you on that marriage is more important. Well, I'm just having a survey which would people prefer and more convenient, a church or beach wedding. I'm also thinking what to do with my own wedding, so I want suggestions from other people.

I had always wanted a beach wedding but now that my parents have accepted my boyfriend who is a Christian they want me to marry in his religion too, my boyfriend does not mind if I agree or not but I think of his parent too and he is the first boy so obviously his parent would want church marriage and both for me it's okay as I wanted to go to the church too.

For strict Christians, they would really want to have a church wedding. Maybe when you renew your vows you can probably try a beach wedding already.
