My mother complains that going to the movie theatre is no fun anymore because of how loud they make it. Do you think it should only be aloud a certain volume?

I do agree that there are some movies that when shown in a theater are way too loud. Perhaps it is because certain parts of the movie are rather soft so when it gets to the louder points the volume is up high enough to hear the softer parts that it is then too loud. While it would be nice for the volume to be just the right volume for everyone in the theater, it's never going to happen. If someone does not approve of the theater volume, then it might be best if they wait for it to come out on dvd and watch it at home.

I have to agree that some movie theaters are SO loud to me. I don't think it's necessary to have the volume blasting. Obviously everyone needs to be able to hear it but I know that when my ears are hurting, others must be too!
