I like them actually and think they are rather cute. Once I saw the video that goes with them, I understood the design more. Have you seen it? The animated one in the kids' bedroom with the sports posters on the wall. I think they look good and I like the names being associated with Stoke Mandeville and Much Wenlock, so they have a meaning too.

How crass! One-eyed Teletubbies from the Twilight Zone. Mandeville appears to have a permanent wet patch where his pants might be.

I think that these are the worst Olympic mascot's yet! Hope it's not a sign of things to come for this Games!!

two things came to mind when i saw them for the first time... the first was the male "1 eye" LOL the second was the illuminanti symbol of the 1 eyed demon
