Have you been tested for colourblindness...

A simple colourblind test. - A quick and simple eye test to check for colourblindness. You should be able to see the numbers printed next to each coloured circle within the circle.

I wonder how many myLot members are colourblind. I have added a simple picture for you to test yourself. Give it a try and report your findings... It's all just for fun..

Well I am glad your not colourblind and I'm glad to be in the 92% of men who are not colourblind either, but I think I will need to get my eyes tested as I really am struggling to make out your avatar :)

I saw all the colored numbers within the picture circle's, so I guess I'm not color blind, and I can see your bright yellow avatar pic too lol, and oh I'm a little bit of an artist, so it helps to be able to see colors well, you can check out my computer made pics in my profile at the very bottom hehe.

Well I guess not being colourblind would be an advantage for a budding artist. Although some of the modern art I have seen I'm surprised the artist had any vision at all. PS. I like your long green hair in your avatar

Hi, HADDOWZ. No. I have never been tested for color blindness. I wonder what the results may be when I get tested. I think that I would be amazed to see the results to this test.

Please dont worry if you are colourblind. My son is colourblind. Just off mono which means he sees just a bit more than black and white. It was explained to us as if there is a green tree with red apples and a brown trunk he would see all this as the same colour. Growing up he coped with it. At playschool he had a friend help him pick the right colours - sometimes they messed around and he would bring pictures home with a green sky and blue grass! he soon learnt colours though and what jobs he could and could not do and not to mess around in Science lessons! He is a fencer now (puts up fences on motorways, peoples house, prisons, railways etc) and does sometimes get caught out if they mark the ground with a red x where the hole should go and he cant find the mark but otherwise fine. We knew he would be colourblind and that if his daughter has a son he will be too! It is passed down the generations from the male, through the daughter of that male to her son. This son will be colourblind but not as bad as his Grandad as it gets weaker and weaker down the generations. One day I hope they will be able to get glasses or something over the eyes that will correct this - well you never know and I do think they are working on this. x

I am sure that one day doctors and opticians will find a way to correct colour blindness. Modern technology is always progressing with great speed.

Interesting test, I have seen something similar at school long time ago and could see the numbers that time too.. Have you heard of the patient whose eyes were examined. The doctor said: Your right eye is ok, but you can only see 25% with your left eye. Well that is not bad, answered the patient, because it is an artificial eye..

i had, 6 years ago. and i think i made a perfect score. i'm not colorblind but i failed in the 20/20 vision test so i was advised to get an eyeglass. it was my first employer which did the test. it has free medical exam for those who pass their recruitment processes. just last month though, i did the same test @ facebook app. i think it's the know-it-all app, and i did a mistake or two. but i don't really think it's because i'm colorblind but more because my vision is getting more blurry and i don't like wearing my eyeglass (eye contacts are not advisable, i have eye deformity).^_^
