The ICC is planning to change the format of the ODI cricket. I just don't understand why ICC is playing with the format of the ODI cricket? What you have to say?

The ICC is planning to use colored ball in the test cricket and also about the day-night test match. The ICC is will also review the Decision Review System. The ICC is also planning to part each innings in ODI to 25 overs.

its the huge success of T20 which has overcome all other formats and now the concern is to keep them alive hence efforts are being made to make it more interesting this might be the conventional anwer but i think the answer is moooooooney honey.if u can earn 100 million in 4 hours or 100 millions in 2 hours what will you go for,icc or Bcci all of them are running to fetch more and more money.they have nothing to do with the game sooner the time will come when cricket will be another reality show which is not real.

No man ODI is a very good ormat. T20 is only for those players who can hit the ball hard. but ODI format is for both bowlers and batsmens. So, it is equally for bowlers as well as batsmen game.

ODI cricket is facing severe danger of becoming extinct because of T20.And the same is Test.So some changes are must. Referral system is a good one but,it should be fast. When the technology is available us it! And I also await the 25 over split ODIs,they would be like T20 ttest matches,Wonderful.

Well, everything changes by time............ everything changes.... The t-20 format has been very successful. They are very short time matches and also results come early. So people like very much t-20. Actually, t-20 is overcoming the popularity of one day. First, people liked test cricket, then ODI came, then t-20 came........ and so on..... I think if ICC changes ODI cricket format it will be better to see how the change is - entertaining or not? But, I think that the current ODI format is really good and interesting. ICC should retain this format also with the new ODI format. :)

Fast paced changes in the world are making life a fast paced one.It is also changing one's thinking pace.To keep in tune with these change are changes are brought about in cricket or elsewhere. If some body doesn't propose changes in cricket the system would be called an out dated one. To be not branded as out dated, changes are brought. I don't think there are any special reasons for it.As long as people enjoy an existing pattern it should be continued.
