Personally, I prefer to use Mozilla Firefox. I have tried all the major browsers (Chrome, Internet Explorer and Firefox) and found that Firefox is by far the best all-rounder. Internet Explorer might be the most feature rich, and Chrome might be the simplest and fastest, but Firefox is, in my opinion, the most Functional and practical browser of the lot.

The browser does not increase or decrease the browsing speed on it's own. If you tweak it and disable things such as image loading then the browsing will be faster but that is not something that is passively done. Your ISP and location determines how fast your Internet speed is as well as how fast data is sent between you and the website server. However, browsers all have different loading times in terms of opening the program up in preparation to use it. Opera has one of the fastest cold start times and is the browser I choose to use.

oh indeed yes they do make a difference as Mozilla Firefox is much faster and better all around than IE is, and I would not trade it for anything else.but mylot itself is running slow at times today and is really rather aggravating to me. How can you do much if it takes two minutes to load a posting? Also firefox has a built in spelling checker, how neat is that? I would never go back to IE at all.
