bad damages' season

events get overlapped. one character dies then in another scened he still lives. if damages want viewers to follow them the entire season they would be doing such novelty in doing this to a drama series. the scenes there are always tense and the thought of making things interesting just make it more complicated and so grave that i don't want to watch it. am i right?
