Willie resigns from ABS CBN

Well he has to stand by his words. I think he just became too demanding already with the network. I think that even though he is bringing in money for the company he should not act like he is the only one that brings in the money. Wowowee is just one show that gives money to the station. And it has been proven that the show can exist even without him and somehow is replaced by a new male host already. I think he only needs to change his character and attitude and he would be fine.

When did you heard the news? Any confirmation with this? All I know was he threaten the ABS CBN management that he will resign. My apologies for my ignorance.

Hello mimiang, I have actually heard from my mom that my aunt from the US will not be watching Wowowee because of Willie's resignation. well, who cares? as far as am concern, he's head has become too big than his heart. He's a rich guy i don't think he needs to come back since he's such a A-Hole. with what he said before against the Management, i don't think he has the right,he's not that clean as R.D.G. too bad, but good for many who hated his attitude.

well maybe he had decided that it is time for him to say goodbye on the show. if he will broke his promises then he has no word of honor.

That is a good observation.Willies's character as a television man is not all good. He has the image of being a womanizer. He puts much pressure on some of the host in the program,he reasons out that it is for the good of the show,but he do it in live television,although he can tell them out of the cam. He wants to control the management of ABS, that's not good, ABS creates willie,willie did not create ABS.

I agree with you. He definitely made the right decision. He is so self-centered and conceited. But the problem now is who will replace him? We have to admit, many people enjoyed Willie's hosting. It's going to be hard to find someone who could carry the show especially since people have been so use in his hosting in Wowowee.

Hi there Mimiang! Yeah, I heard that he did and I think that it's long overdue. It wasn't the first time that he acted like that towards the management and I think that he thinks so highly of his self. I can remember an instance when he threatened the management, though nut directly that the viewers will go with him wherever he will go. What he doesn't know is that he won't be where he is right now if the management did not give him another chance. So ungrateful.

After all this years of having a bad boy image, Willie Revillame deserves what he acts. He is overreacting at times and is hot-tempered when he sees everything is wrong. But I do believe that he is close to the hearts of many people from what I see in his noontime show WOWOWEE. Now, he must accept what he had done.

I agree. Besides he already said he's going to resign. He'd better be firm with his word.
