Where can I get the best one at the lowest price? If it goes completely out I won't be able to get on line at all as I don't have a battery either. Online they run around 50 bucks for Toshiba. But in town here they run like 80 bucks for an off brand! What to do?? any help?

You should try checking on another site like ebay or craigslist to see if anyone is selling any for cheaper. I have had horrible luck with power cords breaking down and I was actually able to get the one I've had now for only $15 and it's not only a great power cord, but I've had it for about 6 months now so it's quality as well.

Hi Macdingolinger, Have you tried EBuyer as they specailise in all sorts of computer parts at trade prices, haven't used them myself but friends at work really rate them. Huggles. Ellie :D

I would give Ebay a try for a new power cord. It is most likely you will find a shop situated in China that ships worldwide. I buy alot of computer peripherals from there and they are usually far cheaper than anywhere else I have looked. As long as you dont mind waiting a week or so for delivery, it's the best place to go.
