Genome in Bottle-Can man reach to nearby position of God?

Using a made from scratch genome, scientists have breathed a new kind of lofe in to a bacterium, that feat published on Science[may, twenty one] , holds great promise for creating designer organisms that might to things like produce vaccines, synthesize bio-flues,purify water or eat spilled oil.This is the beginning of making of life by human being .Will get success in producing his prototype in future?will he reach to nearby position of creator?

Whatever J Craig Venter is doing, he is not doing right. It is like a child playing with a bomb who does not know the consequences if it blows off. Mr. Venter should stop all further research until sufficient regulations are in place. What would happen if out of inadvertence he through his experiments releases new organisms into the environment? His experiments would do more harm than good. We don't know how these organisms will behave in the environment. What would happen if any terrorist organizations kidnap J. Venter, or they possess the knowhow? They might hold the whole world at ransom. J. Venter is not playing God; he is playing Satan. US government should do everything to stop him.

It is again recalling the history of"Manhattan project", but at that time "Uranium" was just a metal..means his control was in our hand..if this alive objects start to produce their own technology then what will happen?I don't Think that USA will oppose this project..cause in spite of weapons they will sell "lives" ,weapon based economy will get change in to "life based economy"

Man might be getting closer to proof that God exists. WE are all spiritual beings in our true natures. God installs us in our physical bodies after birth. If man creates 2 identical bodies then God puts a person in one and not the other, what are they going to decide then???? God must exist cause we didn't do anything. Yes, there is so much left to learn. Mankind thinks they are smart but in truth, they aren't even in the ballpark yet. The greater the knowledge;the scarier it gets. Let's try to control our fear along the way.
