Genome in Bottle-Can man reach to nearby position of God?

Using a made from scratch genome , scientist have breathed a new kind of life in to a bacterium, the feat published in Science on may twenty one, holds great promise for creating designer organisms that might to things like produce vaccines, synthesize bio-fuels, purify water or eat spilled oil.This is the beginning of making of life by human being. Will man get success in producing his prototype in future? will he reach to nearby position of creator?

I don't care what kinda genome he created. I greatly refuse to look at him as the creator. Only God is the creator for me and he'll remain as is. That scientist will just be a human for me. Nothing more than that.

It sounds like a perfect movie pitch. You know, the scientist creates "life" and it's supposed to be the panacea to all that ails the earth. Then it gets out of control and begins to destroy instead of help. Then the rest of the plot is the scientist trying to stop what he started....in the movies it's always a good ending. Can't promise that for this!
