When you want to work and answer discussion in mylot, where do you look for discussions first? Do you search for discussions in today's top, my interest, new, recent, started, responded, friend's started, hot, no reponses or new user? Please explain why. Thank you.

I always look in the 'Friend's started' first. That is the only grateful thing I can do to my friends who dutifully respond happily to each and every discussion of mine.I go to the other sections once I have done responding to my friends; discussions.

I have noticed that a lot of mylotters look at the 'friend's started' first. I think you find more interesting topics there because of your common interests, and in a way, you are being thoughtful to your friends, for choosing them first.

Every time I start working out here in mylot to answer some of the discussion I always work out on the discussions without responses. I go on to discussion that I can relate to in that category because i somehow want to pay off the efforts of the mylotters in typing and thinking on a good topic. I don't want anybody to have a zero response for topics that they've started because they might get discouraged and if your the only one who responded in that discussion that you can possibly get the BR.

Wow.. How thoughtful of you to look at the no responses first, and taking them seriously instead of taking them for granted. That is a nice thing to do. THank you for your response. Happy mylotting.

Yeah, sometimes good topics are taken forgranted just because they may think that the title doesn't sound nice. Thank you for giving other people with no response a chance. Happy mylotting eil_noz.

It's not good to take it for granted so I do try that first and hoping that there's an interesting topic there.

hi kharlav I first tend to the notifications from my friends discussions then I go to friends started, hot then new, then todays top and if I have time will go back to email to check for new notifications. this way I have a lot of choices and can pick the ones that I can reply to intelligently. Why because that is my routine and also I owe it to mylot friends to look through theirs first.

Having a lot of choices makes you work faster than having a hard time looking for one. Thank you for your response. HAppy mylotting.

First I reply to the discussions I have started or responded if required and than I start responding the discussions from MyLot Daily Digest. That is good collection of some nice discussions and I have been responding most from that list. Its good to get sorted discussions and 90% can be taken to respond. I also look at the friend's started and than finally see on the page if any discussions catches my eyes.

We are the same, I do that too. You are right in saying that there is a good collection of responses in the mylot daily digest, that's why I do that. THank you for responding. Happy mylotting.

I normally look in 'friends started' unless I have posted topics and need to reply to them. I realize that I have a lot to relate and respond to friends and my interests than in today's top. To stop by in every one and respond to where necessary would be a satisfying visit to myLot and thereby making myLotting a worthwhile experience.

That is a good thing to do. Maybe I should try that. Maybe my friends also have better topics that I can relate to because in the first place you became friends because you have something in common. Does more friends mean more good discussions?

I may not have the best answers and far from being perfect. But discussions always excite my mind and never fail to challenge me. More friends obviously mean more discussions and a wider choice. You can have quality out of quantity.

Mainly I look for 'no responses' category because I mostly like to be the first person who post response on a discussion. When I'm unsatisfied with 'no responses' category I go to 'my interest' or 'today's top.

Lol. that's a unique reason for doing such. We have the same reason.lol. But I go to new responses instead of the no responses. It's also a good thing for you to respond first to those who did not receive any responses, at least you are giving them a chance to be responded to.

Yep kharlav, I do have a system I use for mylot..First I reply to discussions from my friends I get in my inbox. Then I reply to whoever responded to my posts. Next I check my friends posts whose notifications are not turned on and see what they have..Then I go to the top where the latest of my interests, (which is how I found this post) and reply to the ones I find interesting. If I still have time, I will go to either new user or no response posts and see what I can do there..Also, anytime during the process, if I have a new discussion to post, I post it.. I may be wrong, but I find this to be the most organized way to be active here.

That is right. Thank you for your reply, I really learned a lot. I usually just look at the post at home then go to the new post. Thank you also for seeing my discussion as interesting. Happy mylotting.

I normally go to the home page and scroll down to see which discussion catches my eye or sounds interesting to me. Then I'd reload the page a couple of times to look for more discussions. When I can't find any, I'd go to my interests, mainly writing, to find if there is any interesting topics there. Then if I can't find anymore to respond to, create my own.

I always check my emails for friends discussions first. Then I go to the top discussions. After that I will go to my interests. It is a routine that works well for me.

When I went to the mylot first, I did not how to find right discussion. I only find them in main page. Later I found the interests, it was a fast way for writing many articles. I write many articles and responses in make extra money, also mylot. I find if you have some interests in some things, you will write many good articles, many people will like your articles, and give many response for yours, and your ranks will be high, and your unit price will be high.

The first thing I go on is the discussions I started, and I check if there are new comments or responses. Next thing I check is the discussions that "friends started". The third would either be "new" or "recent". Those are just usually the ones I check, but if I'm really bored and couldn't find discussions I like in those categories, I go check the "hot". Lol.

Wow! i have just discovered that many mylotters really look at friends' discussions first. I think, maybe, it is also a smart thing to do because you will have more common thing with your friends in mylot thus you find more discussions that you can also relate to. Thank you for your response. Happy mylotting.
