In facebook under your relationship status you have the option to place the name of the person whom you have a relationship with. Do you put the name of your significant other or do you just leave it blank?

Hi, I just left the relationship status section blank. I dont really think it has anything to do with other people. There is no way of knowing who is viewing your profile in Facebook. I know you can change the security settings so only friends you have accepted can view your full profile details, but if there's nothing there to hide , why bother. HaVe FuN.

I want to place her name there, but she doesn't want my name to show on her page, so I have no choice. Lol. It is required for your "partner" to accept the relationship request, so it means that if you want your partner's name shown on your info, he/she must also show your name on his/her info. So yeah, lol.

Yeah that's right, your partner needs to approve the relationship request. Any particular reason why she would not accept it?

A lot of her friends and family are on her FB friends list, and she hasn't come out yet to them. We're not "legal", lol

I would. Of course, I would ask the person first. I think if I didn't tell people on Facebook I was involved with someone. They'd be suspicious as to why I though Ii needed to do that. I have very protective friends and a habit of picking inappropriate people for relationships.

I use facebook to communicate with family and friends so 99% of them know who my husband is. He joined long after I did and I haven't gotten around to adding his name to my profile so right now it's still blank.

I personally do not like to put her name there. Because I respect privacy. Every person has his or her private life and I think that thing should not be publisized. But is upto individuals to decide.

I don't have a problem with revealing who I am in a relationship with. I keep my facebook page as private as possible, but sometimes is best to keep personal stuff private too. If you would like to be friends in Facebook feel free to send me the link to send you an invitation. :)
