Your friend (insert name) started a new discussion on mylot!

I get this all the time and in bulk and frankly it is a little annoying. It is not annoying that the people are starting a discussion or who the people are that started the discussion it is just that I do not think I need an email update when ever a person does that. I have a lot of friends on mylot and well a lot of them are super extra active and post maybe 5+ discussions a day it does kind of make it difficult to find discussions I am getting a response to. Mylot gives me so much mail I have a filter for it and even the filter seems to be getting clogged haha. I think that there should be a mylot only notification. I mean they already have a section on mylot called friend started, why can they not give you some form of notification about them starting a discussion on the website? Now my question is are you feeling the same way? and should mylot change this or give you the ability to not get emails to your email address and just send you some onsite notification instead?
