Help, seriously, help. He is three and I KNOW he knows how to do this, but he has no interest in it. We have tried holding things hostage, bribery doesnt work, running water while he is sitting there hasnt worked. I am running out of ideas, and patience, which honestly, is not like me. He has potty movies, and potty books, a potty chair, and one of the seat adapters for kids on the regular potty. I am just lost, what am I doing wrong?

I had the same problem with my youngest daughter, and after telling her everytime I had to change her diaper that she was too big for diapers, I finally put her on the toilet. It was right after a nap, so I knew she would have to go, and I waited. When she finally did use the facilities, I made her stand up and watch as I did clean up. I told her, "now, wasn't that easier then wearing a nasty old diaper?" She looked up at me, and said "Yeah Mommy, that was easy!" She never wore a diaper again. Good Luck!
