As a good person we want to be true to our friends. We give good criticism to what they have and what they do because we show our concern. We see our friends the way we see ourselves. The way we criticize them shows how do we criticize ourselves. So what will you do if you are the mirror of your friends? How will you say this topic to your friend without him being offended or hurt?

I will tell my friend what preoccupies me about him/her because I want to be the person to tell him/her instead of a stranger which my friend can find awkward and very bad too so better I tell him/her, I think you should be doing this also, your friend will appreciate you.

This is a very tough question. I went to a meet-up group in my local and the leader of this group had very bad breath. I never went back again at least in part because of this. Well you might lose your friend if you bring it up. You might not want to be around your friend if you don't bring it up. I don't think it's a win win situation. I guess if you do bring it up be as gentle about it as possible.

yeah i agree, i think its really hard for you to say something that would hurt other's feelings, and that's nice, but what if others also felt the same way towards you, and instead of bringing it up they just walk away, what will you feel about that? would it be better to tell the truth and hurt them in a little while and then gain their friendship that will last longer? or just ignore it and make the relationship stagnant? happy mylotting ^_^

I would tell him or her to go brush your teeth or take shower, in a nice way of course.

Some people just have that problem. I have a friend like that also. I know this person brushes and uses mouthwash just as much as I do, but they cannot help it. I generally carry lifesavers with me and offer one. Nine times out of 10 they won't refuse a lifesaver.
