Lately they are few aeroplane crashing around the world from India,Afganisthan ,US and others. I rode Air India before since i live in bangalor india for few years, they landing are rough and air tuburlence is bad.Do your have any bad experience while doing air travel? Do u have any particular seatings u opted while in the plane? I hear that it is better to seat at the tail , because usually plane crash while nose diving , and explosion is at the wing sides because of the engine and air fuel is stored at the wings tanks. I hear sitting at the tail end beside the emergency door . if the emergency door is open , u will be the first to go out too.is that the best? Is there any true?

Once long ago while traveling by air I had a bad experience, which made me vow never to travel by air again. After the plane took off and it had already out above the sea, it had to turn back to the originating airport because one of the engines had developed a problem. Same plane took off after they carried out the repairs. There is no hard and fast rule to ascertain that after disaster strikes the plane where you will be safe. In the recent disaster at Mangalore, the people who were seated near the wings escaped because the airplane broke near the wings and some people had fallen out. I sit in the plane with a prayer that all those who are traveling by air on that day may reach their destination safely. You cannot do anything more than this.

When I flew back home from Florida 4 yrs ago we had to do an emergency landing and I remember all these police cars and ambulances/fire trucks surrounding the plane. Then we had to wait on the plane until it was safe for us to unboard. In the end they never told us what really happened and stuff but to this day i'm still curious as to what happened. I haven't flown since that day. I usually drive now when I travel. But I'm sure I will fly sometime in life just not now.
