Mohammad Rafi; ever best singer in Indian cinema !!

I think Mohammad Rafi was the best singer in Indian cinema, I like his heart touching voice, he could sing every type of songs whether it is Happy, Sad, Love.... great voice!!
Do you remember that Happy song "Nain Lad Jai Hai" and alos that sad song "O Duniya Ke Rakhwale". Wow !! He was just amazing !! He could sing any type of song.
I think the Indian cinema not gonna have such singer in future. Love you Rafi !!

i agree. and, there are a lot more modern ghazal singers too, competing to the slot, vacated by the ETERNAL Md.Rafi saaab.
he alao sang a number in TELUGU, my native language, for none other than N.T.Rama Rao, in a picture, which also was remade into a HINDI movie...
thanks for reminding a wonderful saga.

" aaja tujko pukaro mere geet me.. " do you remember the hindi song? .. there is a telugu movie, where this tune is sung by our RAFI saab, ... in the same melodious tune, .. with a lyric similar too. the movie is AAARADANA.

yes i also feel the same. his songs in dosti " chahoonga main tujhe shaam savere " is one omy favourite song. He is a legend in bollywood
