Yet again our main TV channels are being taken over by bl00dy soccer!!! Saturday night we had to endure two foreign players kicking a ball around, tonight we have "an international friendly between England and Mexico". Aren't we going to have enough of the flaming game when the World Cup starts!! HANDS OFF OUR TV

If they just showed the game from kick off to final whistle it's bad enough but they usually start half an hour earlier and waffle on about who will win and who will score, and at the end will waffle on about why they didn't.

Yes, I know and as my husband and son are both going to watch the World Cup and follow EVERY game, I am not really looking forward to it!! I will have to watch my programmes on 'view on demand' or iPlayer afterwards, as most matches seem to clash with programmes I like. I quite enjoy watching some football, but not weeks and weeks of it!!!!

That's a good idea! Sadly we only have a big TV & Virgin Media in our longe so that's where they'll be watching!!

I love football I could watch it all day every day, I also like the analysis on afterwards, however my wife doesn't, so this causes problems.I use to go to pub to watch a lot of it, this also caused problems, usually with me coming back drunk. So as a comprimise I get to watch the big games and for any others I usually run a bath, let the wife go in first so I can at least see some of the game, then I have a bath and listen to the rest on the radio. In all fairness the commentry and analysis are usally better. We find this compremise works well.
