DONATE hair, feathers, animal fur and nylons to SAVE GULF in OIL SPILL

http://www.matteroftrust.org/programs/hairmatsinfo.html (NOT A REF LINK) im sure you all know about the oil spill that is going on in the gulf ocean that is endangering so many animals and totally messing up our environment etc.. there is a place that is taking donations of money, human head hair (any length. even a small trim) animal fur, feathers, and nylons to make these pillow type things that they put in the water that soaks up the oil. so im asking anyone that is due for a trim or their pet a trim or has old nylons and feather pillows to please consider this as something to do for the gulf since no one seems to be helping it! and if you know anyone working in a salon maybe let them and their salon know and see if they will donate to it.. my husband buzzed his head for it and i got a few inches and my hair thinned out for it and shaved/trimmed my dog and got an old feather pillow to ship off to it.. have you ever done anything like this to donate to a cause? know some people to locks of love which is great.. would you be willing to do this or spread the word? or are you hoping some one in the government will take over sometime soon?
