i guess it will be normal for sisters to wear a hand-me-down clothes like skirt, shirt and others..ya see,i'm lucky cuz i'm the only girl in my family but my other three brothers do get to feel wearing the same kind of clothers that been passed from my first bro to the third..there's nothing wrong with wearing it..unless your sibling has a kind of infected rashes or nasty disease..hehe..i do think it's fine..considering all the clothes is still ok and it only cut the cost of buying new clothes everytime..what say you?

Yeah, I am the middle of three sisters, and I admit, sometimes, I do wish that I get all the new clothes, though, some of her clothes are really nice and I don't mind wearing them once it does not fit her anymore. Hehehe. Until now, we have so gotten used to sharing clothes, that sometimes it's really hard to distinguish whose are our clothes. That's why we need to live together, cause it's hard to divide all our clothing. Hehehe.

I actually like hand me down clothes. I have two older sisters and the other one has the same size like me. She buys clothes that are really of good quality and I like most of them. I like it when she doesnt like it anymore cause I know I am going to have it. lol There are also times when she likes my clothes and I also hand it to her if I dont like it anymore and sometimes I sell it to her if I dont have money anymore. lol

I think it's alright if your children are several years apart and can't remember their sibling wearing the clothes. If they're like one year apart and the clothes are literally floating between wardrobes for a couple of years then I don't think it's entirely fair on the younger child who probably doesn't know what it's like to go shopping for their own brand new clothes.
I had a brother luckily for me, but he did get given some of my clothes like hoodies and tracksuit bottoms when we were both a lot younger.. and I don't think he would be too pleased to find out that this was the case today!

ya..like my brothers..they only two years apart and their clothes fit each other well..but i do think that the youngest child get to have a new clothes..if not it will be unfair because the other siblings can get a new one..better share clothes than buy new one everytime..

No different than going to a thrift store or consignment shop. Wearing second hand clothes is a great way to save money and find some really cute things that may have been missed when they were first retailed. The only thing you have to remember is to have the clothes cleaned or wash them before you wear them. Once the clothing has been cleaned should be no fears of wearing them.

Oh so true. Undergarments should go directly to the trash when they no longer fit or are no longer desired. Actually after seeing some of the tv shows that have been on lately the purchase of new undergarments should be those in sealed packages only, as people have been returning used undergarments to the store. Talk about YUCK.

It is a very good thing to have hand me downs or second hands because I feel that if the kids get something new all the time they may end up spoiled. There is nothing wrong in wearing clothes that are pre-owned. I think it may help teach some fiscal responsibility as well. Hopefully the kids learn from this and instead of going and buying the latest thing when they have money, they will consider what is best to spend the money on or to save it for some larger purchase that is a necessity. Also hopefully they learn what is necessary and needed, and what is a want and will use their money accordingly when they are older.

Yes, and it is very good to appreciate things. I think people that don't have a lot are happier than those that have too much.

yes..although i'm the only girl in the family..my mum always taught me to value money and it;s not easy to get money..i knew rich people would not recyled their stuff and they will surely buy new clothes..but if we learn it hard way..we will appreciate what we have and live with it
