I know there used to be a product by Zodiac that would kill not only the fleas but also the eggs. You can also try flea traps. Since fleas are attracted to heat, you plug these traps into a low wall socket. They have a light bulb like a night light and the fleas jump towards the heat of the bulb and get stuck on sticky trap paper.

you must treat your yard or outside your house too. If not everytime your dogs go outside they will carry fleas inside.

when bugs and fleas take over a home in florida they tent the house and an exterminator pumps in smoke according to what you want killed or they pump in a chemical that kills everything, takes a few days and you have to wash all plates and silverware etc, and make sure all furniture is covered before hand. you just cant treat the animal you have to treat both at the same time, most store bought fles sprays and bombs dont work because their not big enough to get in every nook and crany in a home, attic space etc. you need to call a professional exterminator.
