Has anybody ever mistaken you for somebody else? http://weblogs.sun-sentinel.com/news/specials/weirdflorida/blog/funny_news/ George Tedders of Englewood won’t have to pay child support for a 2-year-old after all. The 82-year-old is officially off the hook. “He’s taking it fine. He’s happy he won’t have to go to jail,” said his wife, Hope. Tedders, 82, was notified last week by the Charlotte County Sheriff’s department that he was a defendant in a paternity suit filed in Nevada. But the George Tedders being sought by Nevada is 6-foot-1 black male. The Englewood Tedders is 5-foot-4 and white. And 82. The Tedders say it would be nice not to have to shell out $250 billed in legal fees. Either way, George Tedders says he’s learned his lesson. “Stay away from young girls!” he said. lmao poor guy, atleast his wife stayed by his side.

There are a lot of names listed that sound so similar and this is not the first time that a mistaken identity happens. At least he was not mistaken for a criminal or something. He is still lucky.

so true. He did have to put out a little money but it could have been worse...

I have to give it to the guy...he kept his sense of humor throughout the ordeal. Now, let's hope they catch the real George and sock it to him for child support. I'm tired of papas who have no problem making babies, but then you can't find them when it comes to supporting their kids.
