Happiness has a big difference between joyfulness. There are lots of people in this world are happy but have no joy. But every people that have joy are happy. Most people are looking for happiness in different ways they go to disco, beer houses, gamblings, women/men, drugs, going to beaches, and etc. but because they have no joy inside day by day they are looking for these things in order for them to be happy, they will be always longing for happiness. If a person has a real joy that only Christ can give I believe even with out those things mentioned above still he/she will be happy, he/she will be contented and happy with his/her life.

I think happiness and joyfulness are the same. You may be looking at these words too deeply. You didn't even provide any description to cite their differences.

hi,there is a lot of difference between joy and happiness.Joy is temporary, which we can buy with money also. Some get by going to pub,dance...some get joy by observing nature, birds, water falls... Happiness is something more which one has to experience..we can't buy with money...it belongs to soul..and getting happiness is not so easy...

in my opinion, joy is eternal..if you find joy..you find fulfillment in your life.. Happiness is temporary..like, I am happy because a met her,I am happy because I got the contract,i am promoted,etc..and after that you are longing for something, you want more, greater than the first..
