Would You Like To Live In Another Country?

I was thinking about this myself today after a conversation with a friend of mine who lives overseas... and I am not sure whether I would like to live in another country... I guess visiting another country just for a holiday would be nice, and maybe once I got to know about the place then maybe I would change my mind, for for the most part I am happy where I am here in the UK, although it can be quite scary sometimes with the changes that the goverments make. What country would you like to move to, or would think about moving to, do you think you would find it easy to start a fresh there, with everything different to what you are used to?

Hello rosie, I don't mind going for countries like Australia, Europe and Italy, these are places i wanted to visit because there's been a lot of people visiting in the US and not to mention i had been denied twice of US Visa for travel in anycase, any country will as long as they're not dangerous.or else it could be my first and last visit

The US seems to be denying everyone Visas.. I am from a country which was an old colony of the US, and they in fact use part of the country's territory to dock or land. And they seem to treat their allied nations differently. I prefer on the other hand to live in Canada, Australia or even New Zealand

if I were given a change, i would probably move to canada for a new life. I would like to lead a life in english-speaking country, all is because I am very interested in learning english. I always english is the most attractive language among the various languages. moving to another country makes me experience different cultures, enlarge my insight, enrich my life, all of these mean very important to me. if just for a vacation, i would like to go to japan, i have been studying japanese for 7 years, maybe one day i would to there to do shopping in tokyo.

As it said, 'There's No Place Like Home'. So its wonderful to live in our very home country. Taking a vacation in another country is good, acknowledging who they are and beautiful spots within. However, due to necessity maybe others live in other country call of their work.

I have also ways wanted to live in another country. To be honest, I wanted to live in Singapore, or Canada, or Australia. It seems that living there are getting a good job there will allow better opportunities for me. But, I hope one day, I will be able to attain that dream

I used to think that I would be safely grounded here in my country. But with recent events, I feel like moving away as fast as I can and try to forget everything here. I want to go somewhere no one knows me.

I don't have any plans of living in another country.Even when i was younger, i did not made real efforts to apply for a job in another country. Until i met my love from Canada. He knows at the start that i have no intention at all to relocate to his country. But as months passes by and I came to love him more each day, i realized i can consider it when its the only option to be with him. He insists we live there, i insist we live here. Now the $64 question is, "honey who's the boss around here?" Haha i guess he is the boss. So there , love can drastically change one's view, isn't it? (^_^)

I would not want to live in a different country even if I'll have the opportunity. Maybe I'd live there for some years but then I'd still want to be back to my own country. It still feels different when you are in your own country specially that all my friends and family are here. I don't even want to work in a different country. I'm contented with my job right now. However, I'd definitely want to go to different countries for a vacation with friends and family if ever I'll have the opportunity to do so. I love traveling but still would want to be back home. :)

i'm realy happy if i can live in another country, for me i like to move to japan or south korea or taiwan. i am very tired looking my country, when there were many corrupt officials in my country, if you want to do something you must give some extra money, etc.

I would love to know a country, its culture, language, lifestyle, traditions and so much more while living in that particular country, meeting locals and seeing the life in real. I'm passionate about traveling and each of my travel trip was amazing but there was always something missing until one of my trip to Lithuania for couple of week (very short indeed) where I celebrated Christmas the traditional way with Lithuanian friend, meeting new people, traveling, saw day to day life there and realized how much I enjoy in a totally new environment. I've always admired the beautiful nature and history of Europe and would love to live from few months to few years in most of European countries.

For my view of point, I am contented and satisfied with my way of living in my own hometown here in the philippines. I am comfortable with my life to where I am now, the only reason that I would like to move out in this country because I would like to be with my beau. Where ever my beau right now, I just want to be with him. Whether that would be in UK, USA or Australia or maybe he would be in Saudi, Qatar or Malaysia as long as I am with him every thing is ok and good for me.

If I were given a choice, yes. I would love to experience to live in any state in the US and live my "american dream". I would love to learn new culture, meet a lot of friends there, and mingle with people with different skin color and enjoy their company. But still I would always go back to where I come from, which is my home, Philippines.

Hi Rosie. In my opinion, nothing still beats the comforts of you own home, your own country. We just tend to look and dream to live elsewhere to fill the gap or look for things or experiences that our own country don't have. But eventually most of those people who have chosen to live abroad now misses and wants to go back to their own country especially when they get old. Thus reminiscing their childhood memories. As for you, I can see that your not really that enthusiastic and eager to live abroad. You just might as well just be on tour once in a while if you want.
