most of my friends have the same interests as me..that's why we get along. But there are also some which are very different from me, but we still get along and we discover new things, new interests...

I agree. I have friends who have similar interests as me and some who don't and we get along perfectly fine. You can't expect all your friends to be EXACTLY like you or that would be boring after awhile, don't you think? You'd do the same things together for years and after awhile I'd get so sick of it. I would want friends who understand me and compliment me, but who aren't exactly like me. It would be more fun that way.

I tend to share a few interests with my closest friends. We tend to get together online and game. But the friend I am the closest to is one of my neighbors who had a similar background to mine and is near to me in age. We are able to get together and chat at anytime and neither minds the other calling and waking her up. It is nice to know when times get to difficult there is someone willing to come and just be there with you.

I love and appreciate my friends. I mean, without them I'd lead an incredibly boring life (more than it is now). A lot of my friends and I have similar interests, similar attitudes or similar senses of humor. Yet, there's always SOMETHING that differs between us. Either I'm into rock music and one of my friend likes rap or I like to play instruments and my other friend likes to play sports. If my friends were all alike, I think we wouldn't have as much fun as we do. My friends are always there for me and I appreciate that. I wouldn't trade my friends for the world. (:
