The latest little drama involving ex-Princess Fergie of the Royal family in England, has her trying to get one-half million pounds for securing access to her ex-husband the Prince, who is on a special board in England and an envoy. She was caught on tape in a sting operation accepting a downpayment on the full amount. The man asking for access was a reporter posing as someone else. The story naturally made the news. What are your thoughts on this? Is this a crime or against the law in England? Would this be entrapment? Share your opinion.

From what I've read, no, it's not entrapment. Entrapment is when someone has no intention of committing a crime and is convinced to do so. I don't know if any laws were broken but I'm sure the embarassment she is suffering is pretty severe punishment which will last for a long time.

...Hi spalladino, As I have said before or asked, what does she do with her money? She has to have some kind of allowance, she was working, what the hay? This causes suspicious people to wonder if Prince Andrew knew about it which I'm sure he didn't. Fergie is evidently more immature than her daughters and has no foresight. Thanks and take it easy.

...Hi lelin, Fergie is a bit cheeky as they say, remember her toe sucking public incident? I don't think she thinks too deeply about things, just acts on instinct
I guess. She humilated everyone and now has people thinking that the Prince knew something about this money grabbing scheme and approved it. What a mess. How do you dispprove a negative? As a grown woman she certainly has very poor judgment, what does she do with the money she has anyway? I am sure they give her some sort of allowance, she was writing children's books and working for Weight Watchers. Spending beyond her means, I guess. Her daughters and all of the Royal family are totally humiliated. Thanks and take care.

Whatever her motives are, she definitely was a shame to the Royal Family. The name ex-Princess suits her very well.

....Hi there charmed, I understand that she has constant money problems. But with such a high profile you would thimk she would try to control her instincts.
if she needed money ask her ex-husband, she is the mother of his children, rather than embarass everybody as she has done. I heard a snippet of news that there was a stripping of somne sort, so they may have taken the non title of ex-princess away I am not sure, or that it means anything. For the children's sake I hope she doesn't go to jail for this stupid action. It also makes you wonder what else she has been up to? Thanks and take care.
