Which operating system do you prefer, linux or windows?

I've used linux based Ubuntu before, but i still prefer using windows because its very user friendly. Plus most of the apps that i use are on windows. How about you? Which operating system do you prefer? If you haven't used any linux OS, you can talk about what u like and don't like about Windows.

we tried to use Linux way back my uni days but i kinda not liking it because of it's interface. but one thing that i would like to share to you guys about linux compared to Microsot. Linux is free to obtain while microsoft has sometimes recurring fee. i'm talking to it's licenses. :-)

I prefer to use windows. Ive never used Linux before but I haven't heard many good things about it either from people that do use that system. I just like Windows because its easy to understand and it has many capabilities to block certain things and I never have problems with the program. Currently I switched to vista though and I like it ok but I still like my XP better.

I can't say much about Linux, but what I've seen is that it seems pretty awesome. It has that 3D cube idea where you can see all your windows open at once. Kind of a neat concept. I've always used Windows though. Currently, I'm using Windows7 and love it. So, I'd have to say I prefer Windows, but I'm a bit one-sided because I never personally tried out Linux, even though I'd love to. (:
