Kate Gosselin- you may not like her...

But I think she did a GREAT job with her dance tonight considering her history on Dancing with the Stars. The finale tonight allowed Kate to come back and regain some face because truth be told....she was not very good at all in her short run on the show. But tonight seemed different..she seemed a bit more graceful, not perfect by far...but I gained some new found respect for the woman.
For someone that lives their life in the tabloids I think she holds up well. I know that most people think she is wrong for putting her kids in the spotlight but I'm a firm believer in not judgeing- because honestly no one knows what they will do to support such a large family if they were in her shoes.
Anyway...I just thought I would give a little kudos where it was deserved!
Did you catch the finale of Dancing with the Stars tonight? What did you think of Kate's performance?

No need to be sorry lelin- that IS what mylot is about- a difference of opinion and a healthy debate. I'm just glad you came and took the time to voice yours.
As I said in my original posting- she was by far NOT perfect...BUT- if you look at her past performances....she way WAY better and WAY less nervous then she was in the beginning.
I don't claim to like her personally as I don't know her personally- what I do know is that I have never been put in a position to feed that many mouths at one time- so I can honestly say I don't know what I would do or how I would go about providing for them.
Some may think what she did was wrong- I can bet her kids will grow up to thank her for her sacrifice of privacy in order to provide a better life for them. ;) The choices my mother made to provide for me weren't always right- but I thank her each day I had food on the table (we were very poor)

I have watched another show on TLC called Table For 12, i dont know if it is coming back on, but they did all normal stuff regardless of the fact that they were on television, Jon and Kate + 8 forced themselves to do cute and fun things, thats not really normal, when you have kids, you just go with the flow, kate didn't kate wanted to make a pop, its sad, she is a bad woman and bad mother, with a bad father, i feel sympathy for all of the kids.

Hey Spicysweetie- LOVE the name
I have never caught the Table for 12 show- but I can agree with you that most of the things done on Kate plus 8 seems forced and mainly for publicity. I probably would rather see just day to day stuff with them. I can say that I caught one show where she let the kids paint themselves with pudding- I thought that idea was super cute

Eghh :( I have to agree with the comment not many people like her. The difference I have with her putting her children in the spotlight is that she seemed to want it more for herself than for the sake of trying to raise them. They are little children and don't need that. There are many big families out there who get by without being in the spotlight.

I agree that other large families found ways to provide just as well...I guess she felt this was the easiest way to not only provide..but to live quite comfortably in the process. I'm sure it was even scarier knowing she was about to be divorced. Probably why she picked up an additional show named Twisted Up Kate or something like that. She is definitley keeping herself busy.
