I do like Barbie. I can't wait for my little girl to be old enough to play with them! But what I don't like is the Barbie line that is really expensive or designer and collectable - I love Barbie the way she was first intended - to be a wholesome , creative, playful outlet for young girls.

How old is your daughter? Mine is only 5 months lol. But I can't wait for her to play with them either!

She is 21 months - she loves her stuffed animals - but Barbie is still beyond her scope.

I liked them when I was little. I can't wait for my daughter to be old enough to play with them! I'm going to get her everything.. the swimming pool, the motorhome, the pink convertable! I also had a Barbie Jeep. You know, the one you drive yourself. It was so cool. hahah

I had the swimming pool and the airplane, ski lodge and Barbie camper!! Which I am sure I am dating myself by mentioning!

I think Barbie is great. My girls have them. She sparkes the imagination and shows girls they CAN be anything they want to be considering Barbie has tons of jobs that at 1 time women were not allowed to do, like be a Vet, go to the moon, be a doctor. The imagination for a child is very important and I think Barbie sparks the imagination in ways other toys cant.
