Personally my toothbrush has a cap placed on it, reason: Just to make sure no creepy insects or pests can crawl on it. Some say, at night...there are lots of cockroaches roaming around the house...for houses that are not soo clean I think...but it's better be sure ryt? How about you mylotters? can you share some experiences about your toothbrush?

I don't use a toothbrush cap at home. If we are travelling then I will always use one. Especially when staying in a hotel. You never know what is lurking around.

I don't have a toothbrush cap at home either. When I'm traveling, I bring my mini travel size toothbrush that has a built-in cover to protect it from germs.

Hi becdmd, Yeah the main main reason is the cockroaches. Heckie!! I hate them to core. So I always use the cap just for my satisfaction and sometimes the mosquitoes use to sit on it. My house is clean, though i have a fear of any insects at night.lol.

Hi becdmd, I don't use any cap to protect my toothbrush after using it. My toothbrush is kept in a plastic container when it's cleaned after finished using. Sometimes I could see lizard moving on the kitchen floor. Some nts are available on the wall in front of the sink sometimes. I hope they don't have any interest to crawl on my toothbrush For there isn't any stuff on it that could engage their interest. I keep a short and small toothbrush in my bag when spending longer time outside. I'm advised to clean my teeth after having meal. This could help me not to suffer from the canker. It's believed that germs that harbor in the residua food in between the slits of the teeth that cause the disgusting canker. Only brushing could get rid of the residua thoroughly. The brush won't get dry that fast after using it. So it's capped nicely to avoid stuffs in the bag from getting wet and it's hygienic as well to keep the brush in the bag in this way Happy posting

Hi, becdmd. I keep my toothbrush in a toothbrush holder. We all do. We all have different colors that our toothbrush goes into. I like for my toothbrush to be closed up when I finish using it. We don't have any roaches like that in our apartment, but I like having it closed up. I don't really like the ceramic toothbrush holder that has the holes where you can put your toothbrush in. I have been using a toothbrush holder for about nine years now.

haha! I'm kind of confident that there are no insects in my bath room. But I feel like I need a tooth brush cap especially for travelling. Because I have to put my tooth brush in a pouch or something and it might catch dirt.
