In my opinion, Knowledge is how much information one has and Wisdom is how well/ mature one is in using those information. Knowledge can be gained through lots of reading and studying. However, Wisdom is gained through experience.

Any info or data gained through experience is said to be KNOWLEDGE

I believe knowledge is gained through books or schooling or teaching. Wisdom is learned through experience. Do we usually learn wisdom from school? No, we learn knowledge from school.

http://www.mylot.com/o/guidelines.aspx Dear FRIEND, welcome to mylot. the given link contains a very wonderful GUIDELINES for posting, and helping yourself to more money, ease and comfort here in mylot. for your help, i QUOTE from that: DO NOT Start a new discussion unless you have something of substance to say. Start discussions asking for one word answers like “Yes or No”. Thank everyone that responds or comments on your discussion. This will not increase your earnings. Start meaningless discussions or give meaningless responses to try and boost your rating. Discussions like “What’s your age” will be deleted as well as short responses like “ok” or “no”. ------------------------------------------- But, your question is wonderful. .. there is a lot of wrong notion, particularly, after the Information Technology BOOM... that KNOWLEDGE is POWER. if it were to be true, all the libraries and encyclopedias should be ruling the world. no. Knowledge IS simply the information and data. However, WISDOM comes from the application of KNOWLEDGE. it helps you ..
