It is bad enough seeing men with dry elbows and know men aren't ones to take care of them. Then I see women with rough and dry elbows and all I can think about whY? Don't they realize it? Do they care at all? I don't get it! It is ugly and unattractive! I always moisture my elbows I hate the feeling of my elbows being dry and my elbows catching my shirt sleeves when they are dry! What gives?

Thanks for that, you have just made me a lot more self conscious than I already am!! I suffer from psoriosis and my elbows are awful despite all the moisturising I do. How can you make such a comment when you don't know people's circumstances!!

Sorry! I don't know of anyone of skin problems of psoriosis! I didn't start this discussion to offend anyone! I never would of started this discussion if I knew I would hurt someone's feelings! I am not like that!

I see that too, and while I don't moisturize my elbows, they aren't rough and dry. You are right, they are unattractive and I can't help but think they don't feel real good. Why my skin gets rough like that, it starts hurting me...

Maybe they don't notice. Maybe they have other things to think about. Maybe it doesn't bother them. Maybe they aren't worried about whether some stranger on the street thinks their elbows are attractive. Maybe they have hang ups on the attractiveness of other body parts and focus all the attention on making sure those look good to other people that the elbows get neglected. Why is it "bad enough" seeing it in men but somehow worse in women? If it's so bothersome, shouldn't it be equally bothersome in both sexes?

I really don't know why woman don't take care of their elbows! I think it is unattractive in both sexes! man aren't one to moisturize like women so I can see them not having smooth elbows! Why ever the the reason it is ugly and doens't make any sense!

I wonder if it isn't a skin condition such as eczema or psoriasis. But even so, I'd be doing what I could to keep it under control.

I don't know if some of these women's elbows have skin conditions. With the guys I know it isn't! If it isn't a skin condition you'd think these women would take better care of their elbows!
