Lee or Crystal?

Who would've you like to win on the season finale? Lee or Crystal? I thought Crystal was going to win but I was in shock when Lee won! I'm so very happy for him!
I was sad to see Simon go and when they were singing to him but the roasting was quite funny from everyone. I have heard that Howard Stern is suppose to replace him and I think if that happens, there's going to be a lot of sheading tears from the people who try out because he's a mean man.
Did you watch the last American Idol of the season? What did you think about the results, and Simon leaving the show?

I voted for Lee and voted alot for him. I'm so happy he won. I too will miss Simon. I don't think the show will be the same. As for Howard Stern to replace Simon that is definitely NOT true. He put himself out there to say he wanted that job but he is not getting it. He is a vulgar type guy that does not belong on primetime TV.

Oh thank God Howard Stern is not going to be replacing Simon! Have you heard anything about who is going to? I wanted Lee to win too and I'm glad he did but I though Crystal was going to win and I'm glad she didn't. She sure made it up there though.

I haven't heard a thing about who might or who will replace Simon. I can't wait to hear who it's going to be.

I was happy with either one of them winning. I do think Crystal has the better voice but Lee's sweet personality won me over too...I am happy for Lee but like other's here I think Crytal will be more successful! I think Crystal should have won if it's "supposedly" about talent.

I think Crystal was by far the best singer on this season's show (I picked her from the first time she sang), but I suspected Lee would win because of the teen girls who vote for Chris Allen types, not the best singer. This will be another case where the runner up becomes more "famous" than the winner. Expect to see Crystal around alot and Lee to end up somewhat better than...gees, I can't even remember his name from a few years back... The guy with grayish hair, and he was on tonight's show... What was his name...oh, Taylor Hicks...I think.
Crystal will make it big (I mean like Carrie big)...without being the American Idol.
Simon's leaving the show will have a real negative impact on the show. I'm not sure AI will survive without him. It's going to take some careful choosing to replace him...if it can be done at all.

I had a hard time making my own choice between Lee and Crystal when it came down to who was a better singer. Their appearances made a big difference too. I think Lee had a cleaner look and Crystal looked like she needed to comb her hair. I remember when the judge Kara told Lee that she thought the girls would like Lee and from that point on, I thought he had a huge chance.
Even though Crystal lost I think she's going to be bigger than Lee just like Adam Lamberg was bigger than last year's winner (I can't even remember his name) he was on last night too. Even when he was singing I couldn't recognize the song.
I agree with you about Crystal making it big like Carrie Underwood too.
I got a bit emotional when the singers sang that song to Simon to say good-bye to him. I'm not sure why because he's never been really nice to the people.
I sure hope American Idol chooses someone with good critique as Simon when it comes to judging.

my bet was on crystal. i thought crystal's performance was more fantastic than that of the guy all throughout the season.
i'm not a lee fan from the very beginning.

Lee winning was a joke. He was clearly a nervous wreck Tuesday and gave 3 lackluster performances while Crystal sang her butt off. Crystal is ten times the singer Lee is, but I'm not surprised. This entire season has been one big joke for me. And I'm glad Simon is gone now. Season 10 can come back and be good. He was purposely trying to sabotage this season (and it worked) because he knows that for The X Factor to succeed in the US, American Idol has to fail. He tried to get it to do that this season and I think Season 10 will come back. This season was so bad and the worst.

Paula was right when she said the show will go on. I've never seen the X Factor before but I'm going to check it out just out of curiosity. I will never quit watching American Idol because that's one of my favorite shows.
I missed Tuesday's show because our satalite was down and got moved out of alignment due to a strong wind storm blahhh.
